Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal

Every time I’m in Montreal I spend some time in the Notre-Dame Bascilica. This is one of the most beautiful and awe inspiring sanctuaries I have ever seen. It also has a Casavant Frères pipe organ, dated 1891, which comprises four keyboards, 92 stops using electropneumatic action and an adjustable combination system, 7000 individual pipes and a pedal board. This pictorial tour of the Notre-Dame Bascilica of Montreal, is accompanied by my recording of David Maddux’s arrangement of Joyful Joyful recorded at St. John Episcopal Church of Tulsa with Vicki Smith on the organ.
